Thousands of budding musicians and actors have entered classes in the 70-year distinguished history of the 'Friendly Festival'. So in 2021, why not test your own nerve and performance ability in a nurturing and supportive environment, in the wonderful city of Worcester? Prizes, awards and a festival concert are all on offer to those who dare!

WINNER OF THE WRITE & SPEAK A POEM

We had a good mix of entries in the different age groups for this class which was adjudicated by Giovanni Esposito in isolation. Congratulations to John Morris, the overall winner with his poem ‘Colin, the Allergic Bee’ receiving the following adjudicator’s remarks: “I really enjoyed this! Witty, clever and a difficult form to maintain in a narrative poem! Very well done!”
