A very warm welcome to all those returning to the Festival and for those joining us for the first time this year. After our successful virtual festival in 2021 we are proud to be celebrating our 71st year. It is great to be planning for a face to face festival once more. For the full rules and safeguarding policy, please click here.
Please see below for further useful information.
Important dates for your diary
We hope the festival will take place face to face on 12th and 19th March 2022. Sections will be split over the two days.
Entries must be made online using the Play&Perform platform by Monday 24th January 2022.
Rules and fees
The rules and policies can be found within the syllabus, but for convenience, they are also available here.
The festival days
We very much hope that the festival will be able to go ahead 'in person' with an audience. Admission details and charges can be found here. However, if circumstances change, we will revert to the virtual format we used in 2021. We will communicate with all entrants as soon as possible if this is the case.
How to enter
All entries MUST be made online by the deadline using the Play&Perform platform.

The programme will be available here from 7th February, detailing which sections will be held on which days.
The Festival will once again be held at The Royal Grammar School Worcester.
There is limited onsite parking at the rear of the school in the Performing Arts Centre car park, off Tennis Walk, but there are a number of public car parks within easy walking distance. Please click here for the location map.
