Musical Theatre

Following the successful Musical Theatre day in 2023, we are continuing to expand our Musical Theatre offering  with competitive and non-competitive classes and workshops open to all ages and abilities! We are holding the Musical Theatre day on Sunday 3rd March 2024 at Bishop Perowne CE College with specialist adjudicators and workshops from West End performers.

Whether you prefer a solo, duet, trio, quartet or larger group number, the Musical Theatre day has something for everyone! With both competitive and non-competitive opportunities to perform and workshops combining singing, acting and movement for all ages and abilities (including adults!), this day promises to be a joyous celebration of the abundance of local musical theatre talent. Whether you are a keen beginner or an experienced 'triple threat', we would love to see and hear you perform!

Workshops

Our new musical theatre workshops are for all ages and abilities - No experience necessary! The workshops will be led by genuine stars from the West End. Workshops will focus on singing for musical theatre, working on acting through song and movement. You will work on a song from a specific musical - musicals to be announced in due course!

The suggested age ranges are as follows and are deliberately flexible (please contact us should you have any queries:

Junior: Ages 7-10

Intermediate: Ages 11-13

Senior: Ages 14-17

Adult: Age 18+

The workshops will last approximately 1.5 hours. They will run alongside the competitive classes and we will ensure that competitors are able to compete without clashes.
